Polariod/The Impossible Project

Our brief was to help launch the I-1 camera - the first new camera system in 20 years for the original Polaroid format.

 

We position the camera as the antidote to disposable culture and target 'makers' from all creative backgrounds, not just photographers.

The first job was to give this new brand a meaning. We created and produced the companies first brand book that was given out to all employees.

Our launch campaign "Project 8" was the biggest photo swap in history, where makers were invited to submit a photo and receive one from another part of the world in return.

This was not just a simple advertising brief as we also helped to create a distinctive packaging design bringing analog photography into the digital age.
