In a hugely competitive market were the competition could offer better odds and have a considerably larger media budget. Paddy Power needed to find a different way of standing out and connecting with punters.
"We Hear You" was a campaign that stood up against the sporting establishment on behalf of the fans by listening, and giving a voice to their hopes, fears and frustrations.
It was Paddy Power’s way of giving real power to the punter. To stay relevant we had to listen to people’s sporting gripes and wishes on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, and respond to them in a ridiculous and mischievous way that only Paddy Power could. The campaign ran for over 4 years and won numerious creative and effectivness awards.
